Massimo Colasurdo
Sales Manager
As a sales and account manager, I handle commercial activities, client relations, and the activation of new projects.
My guiding principles are a consultative approach, integrative negotiation, and active listening, aimed at building concrete relationships with clients. Addressing project culture and design maturity are key market challenges. Data analysis is my method for generating insights, making decisions, and optimizing business activities.
After completing my university studies, I recognized myself with a definition: computer humanist. I graduated in foreign languages and literatures with a specialization in computational linguistics, using software to analyze language, leading me to embrace IT and digital fields.
Meanwhile, I developed some entrepreneurial spirit, following family tradition. In 2007, I entered the workforce, first collaborating with Zanichelli and then working for a brand reputation company, mainly in the automotive sector (Ferrari, Ducati, BMW, PSA). In 2011, I participated in an innovative ideas competition organized by the University of Bologna and the Fondazione del Monte di Bologna e Ravenna, winning an award. This led me to realize my idea and start the digital publishing startup Informant.
For the next eight years, I managed Informant as the sole director (with three operational partners and a financial partner) while working in sales roles between Rimini and Bologna, first in a software house (managing clients like Enel, Bper, MPS) and then in a martech startup, leading a team of two and working for the Italian and Spanish markets with clients like Metlife and Iberdrola.
In recent years, I approached the data world with a course on using Knime and some machine learning algorithms and a short master in business data analysis. In mid-2023, driven by a desire for change and finding a company with a stronger mission, greater care for people, and a focus on projects, I joined Tangible. Since early 2024, I have been part of the team.
Rerum Concordia Discors
Every year I plan a solo bike trip around Italy or Europe.
Father of Tommaso and Francesco, I feed my curiosity by reading non-fiction, novels and a few selected essays and continue to edit a publishing series, Quant.
